Three evenings, three artists, one location that has no equal. From 16 to 18 July 2026, the Rocca Maggiore in Assisi becomes the most spectacular stage of the Umbrian summer for the fourth edition of Assisi Summer Festival — and the closing night brings one of Italy’s most popular acts to the city: The Kolors.
The line-up: three nights, three worlds
Each evening has its own distinct identity:
- Thursday 16 July — Sayf: one of the most compelling emerging voices in Italian urban music, fresh from his Sanremo appearance with “Tu mi piaci tanto” and now on his Santissimo Summer Tour. A high-energy live set bringing his latest tracks to Assisi.
- Friday 17 July — Calar feat. Ale De Tuglie: an electronic and house evening inside a medieval fortress. The Calar format hosts Puglia-born DJ and producer Ale De Tuglie, one of the most exciting names in the international house scene. The Umbrian sunset will provide the perfect backdrop.
- Saturday 18 July — The Kolors: the grand finale with the band that dominated Italian radio for two consecutive years. From “Italodisco” (most-played track of 2023) to “Karma” (most-played track of 2024), plus their new single “Rolling Stones” — The Kolors are ready to bring the crowd to their feet. Opening the night: the Radio Subasio Disco Club DJ set.
Rocca Maggiore: a stage like no other
Few festivals in Italy can claim a setting like this. The Rocca Maggiore towers above Assisi, with views over the Umbrian hills that turn extraordinary at sunset. Around 2,000 people per evening inside a medieval fortress, under the stars — an experience that goes far beyond an ordinary concert.
The festival was founded three years ago by a group of young people from Assisi through the association Next Entertainment — over 50 local volunteers who have built one of Umbria’s fastest-growing summer events in just a few years. This year a new food area managed directly by the organisation adds another dimension to the experience.
Tickets
Tickets for all three evenings are available on TicketOne. For The Kolors night, booking in advance is strongly recommended: capacity is limited by the Rocca’s size.
Where to stay: wake up already in Assisi
Our Assisi apartments — Le Volte, Luce, Respiro and Riflesso — are in the heart of the medieval city. After the concert there’s no bus to catch, no car to find: you walk back, music still in your ears, with Assisi entirely to yourself. And the following morning, in the city before the crowds arrive, is worth the trip on its own.
